Where my time goes

You will find me here, on this site, and in conversation. That is all, and it is a choice.

Social media asks for something every day: a post, a story, a reply, an eye on the numbers. Done well, it becomes a job in itself. Many artists know this cost better than anyone: hours spent feeding a feed instead of feeding their art.

In my own work, I rely on the quality of what I do and on word of mouth. My time goes to the artists I work with: listening, thinking, preparing and being fully there when we talk. That is where my coaching makes a difference, and that is where I want to be.

I learned the value of time from Paul and Nicole du Marchie van Voorthuysen, at the Liboson (external site, opens in a new tab), above Montreux. They have devoted their lives to beauty through philosophy, science, art and music, and what they create in a single day still amazes me. Their secret is not haste but presence: full attention, one thing at a time.

For most artists, though, social media matters. Being present and active is part of the work, and that is exactly where AI changes everything. It can help you draft posts in your own voice, plan your publications, sort your messages and keep up with a large community, while you keep the final word. Together, we can build a strong presence that costs you far less time.

If you want to know what I am up to, the News page is the place. And if you want to talk, write to me: you will reach me directly, in person.
